Below is a sample routine of a typical day at our club. Our routine may change to allow for special activities, entertainers, day trips, weather changes etc. Planning is available to view on our parent noticeboard
After School Club Routine
School ends - children are collected by our staff and make their way over to Lutley Community Centre
Children arrive at club and are invited to have an afternoon snack. The children have a variety of healthy snacks made available to them such as sandwiches, toast, crackers, fresh fruit and vegetables.
Focus activity & free play.
Planning is available to view on our club notice board.
Tidy up time
The children are invited to play various group games which encourage teamwork, taking turns and build confidence. We try to give the children a chance to choose the games we play.
This is an illustration of a typical day. On certain days we may have a 'Cinema night' where the children get to watch a film of their choice or we may take advantage of good weather by allowing the children to play outside with water etc.
Holiday Club Routine
Children can bring in their own gadgets/toys to play with during this time if they wish. Please note: all gadgets that have camera capability will be checked for images before they can be taken home from club.
A snack of juice, biscuits and fruit is made available for the children.
Focus activity / free choice
A planned focus activity is conducted and a selection of toys and games are made available alongside this for the children to choose from.
Wash hands / Toileting
This is a packed lunch provided by parents/carers.
children can choose to use this time playing with their own toy/gadget or choose from the wide selection available at club.
